Step into a rewarding role supporting students’ communication and learning needs as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming academic year. This contract position is located near Burlington, NC, and runs from August 26, 2026, through June 10, 2027. You'll work on-site with a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, collaborating closely with educators and families to make a meaningful difference.

Qualifications and Credentials:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) from an accredited program
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
Current, active SLP license for North Carolina and appropriate educator certifications
Experience working with school-aged children preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills, organizational abilities, and dedication to student-centered care

Responsibilities:

Assess, diagnose, and provide therapeutic interventions for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders within the school setting
Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and collaborate on IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
Provide direct therapy services to a diverse caseload (age groups and size to be determined)
Maintain clear and timely documentation for all assessments, sessions, and communications
Consult with teachers, specialists, and families to support generalization of skills in the classroom and at home
